Brekkugerdi is newly decorated,  beautifully located family run guesthouse in the South of Iceland, about twenty minutes drive from road 1.  It is an ideal base to stay for 2-4 days for daytrips to one of the most beautiful surroundings of Southern Iceland. Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir and the national park Thingvellir are within 30 minutes drive. It is also very common that our guests are coming from or going to Landmannalaugar, Vík, Gjáin, Vestman Islands, Þórsmörk and even Skaftafell within a day. Lots of activities are in the neigbourhood, fishing, walking, swimming pools, highland trips and glaciers.  It is also an ideal place to watch the Northern lights.
